This book is still a puppy of a project but it is
growing... and hopes to be a really really BIG dog
one day.
The last thing some people want to hear about is
helping animals when they’re finding it difficult to put
food on the table. The economy has hit the rescue
and shelter community hard. There are fewer
potential adopters and governments have
correspondingly reduced funding. Cash-strapped
animal lovers are also less able to make charitable
donations. As a result, shelters have had to euthanize
more animals than they would otherwise, and those
seeking to place their pets in shelters have been
turned away in some cases. The majority of these
animals will be abandoned to fend for themselves, and
will probably die of exposure, trauma, or starvation.
A portion of the proceeds from "Who Said You Can't
Be The President's Dog!" will help assist this wonderful
community. Join the President's New Dog on their
mission.
"Dog's lives are too
short. Their only
fault, really."
